Our Support

Did you know there are approximately 23.2 million military Veterans in the United States? Every single one you thank makes a difference, show your support this Veterans Day and every day.

• Appreciation Area. We’ve beautified the Flagpole at our headquarters with flowers, shrubs and a Dedication Rock, as well as a special Flag ceremony performed here daily.
• Artwork. Some of our talented employees created artwork that expresses the gratitude we feel for our Veterans’ service; a framed copy will be displayed at each of our locations.
• Opportunities. We proudly hire Veterans at all of our locations and participate in the “Hiring Our Heroes” job fair.  In fact, 6% of our employees are Veterans.
• Red Shirt Fridays. Our employees wear special red t-shirts every Friday to show their support; all proceeds from t-shirt sales are donated to organizations that support service members. Learn more here.
• Stuff Stockings. Every holiday season, Western States fills stockings with essential items for soldiers overseas. See some pictures here.
• Go Fishing. Some of our employees take a Veteran fishing.

• Support Honor Flights. You can sponsor, donate, or volunteer to help support the honor flight program. Honor flights fly veterans to Washington DC to visit memorials built to honor their service to the nation. Learn more at honorflight.org.
